Ghanaian-American artist Blitz the Ambassador in the past years has been touring the world and releasing new music without as much as a break. He’s currently gearing up for a tour across the motherland which will take him to Zanzibar for the Sauti za Busara festival and finally to Ghana. In between he will make a stopover in Nairobi, Kenya to premier his upcoming album, Diasporadical at a listening party on February 18.
Blitz' first appearance in Kenya is organized by Spark Africa on the weekly Nairobi Rapsody hip hop event at Ebony Lounge. In Zanzibar, Blitz will perform with his live band. In Nairobi, as it's a listening party, all tracks will be played from the Diasporadical release, and Blitz will jump on the mic too. Supporting artists are Muthoni the Dummer Queen and dj Blinky Bill. Entrance is FREE and the listening party runs from 10PM to midnight.
