A fresh video for an old favorite: Mingus – Stay (produced by Hipe)

Just dropped: the music video for ‘Stay’, a song by SA’s Mingus, who lives in the Netherlands. The track was produced back in 2012 by Cape Town’s Hipe – both the vocal and instrumental version can be purchased here. The video was shot in the city of Amsterdam (africanhiphop.com/ was born there, too). It's refreshing to see how the director avoided the usual stereotype images of the red light district, coffee shops etc, instead part was shot inside Concerto which is one of the best places to dig for – new and old – vinyl, or cd's for that matter.
