This week saw the release of a music video for our favourite song from one of our favourite albums to come out in France last year, ‘Jeune a la retraite’ by Saian Supa Crew member Fefe. Indeed if you are a regular listener to our African Hip Hop Radio podcast, you’ll recognize this track.
Fefe is short for Feniksi whose real name is Samuel Adebiyi, of Nigerian roots but born in France.
The video to the song ‘VPC (Vilain Petit Canard)’ with its reggae inspired beat and catchy kids chant was recorded in the streets of Paris and is as light hearted as the song itself. Check it out after the jump:
