You probably know that Africanhiphop.com wholeheartedly supports pan-African collaborations. Luckily the multi national mixtapes that were born inside our forums are no longer the only works that combine emcees across the map. A recent release that illustrates it best is ‘Real African Poetry 2.0‘ by Africanhiphop.com forum veterans Fecko and producer Teck-Zilla together with Kaligraph, Dominant-1, the Holstar and Raiza Biza – combining Nigeria, Malawi, Kenya, Rwanda, Zambia and the diaspora on one track.

And here’s a new track plus video (see above) by Ghana’s M.anifest together with Camp Mulla from Kenya. The latter just got nominated ‘best East African group’ at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards. That’s right – a Kenyan group nominated at a Nigerian awards show! The west-east flight connection is put to good use these days (Kenyan Airways and Ethiopian Airlines are two of the companies that make these inter African connections happen) – Kenyan-American r&b singer Victoria Kimani was recently signed to Nigerian label Chocolate City and her first single ‘Oya’ was a collabo with MI.
